The Mele on the Marina Festival, presented by Hawaii State FCU, returns to Hawaii Kai Towne Center, with Nathan Aweau, on Saturday, June 30. The free community event, sponsored by Great Clips, begins at 3 p.m, with entertainment throughout the afternoon. Families are welcome to the three-part summer series celebrating music and local culture, at Hawaii Kai Towne Center’s Marina Docks.
Halau Hula O Napunaheleonapua kicks off the festival at 3 p.m., followed by musician Dayton Watanabe. Nathan Aweau, takes the stage at 6 p.m.
The annual festival continues Hawaii Kai Towne Center’s tradition of bringing the best local entertainment for families to enjoy. The Mele on the Marina Festival will welcome Kūpaoa on Saturday, July 28, and Makaha Sons on Saturday, August 25.
