The Mele on the Marina Festival, presented by Hawaii State FCU, returns to Hawaii Kai Towne Center, with Makaha Sons, on Saturday, August 25. The free community event, sponsored by Great Clips, begins at 3 p.m, with entertainment throughout the afternoon. Families are welcome to the three-part summer series celebrating music and local culture, at Hawaii Kai Towne Center’s Marina Docks.
Halau Na Maka O Ka Laua’e kicks off the festival at 3 p.m., followed by musician Mike Tulba. Makaha Sons, takes the stage at 6 p.m.
