For just one night, forget the magic sleigh and flying reindeer! On Saturday, Nov. 26, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Santa arrives by boat at the Marina Docks at Hawaii Kai Towne Center. The center will also light up its colorful and festive Christmas Tree. Community members are invited to kickoff the holiday season at this free, family-friendly event in scenic East Oahu.
Festivities include a youth dance performance, glitter tattoos, balloon animals, a holiday enter-to-spin prize wheel and the star-attraction, Santa! After his exciting arrival on the blue waters of the marina, Santa will be available to take selfies with keiki.
Mobile dance school Breaks R4 Kidz will take the stage prior to Santa’s arrival. The school is Hawaii’s first motivational hip-hop battle studio. Its mission is to educate Hawaii’s youth and parents about positive hip-hop culture. The group’s high-energy performance promises to take holiday cheer to Guests are invited to bring their holiday shopping lists and appetites along, as they can indulge in the center’s more than 50 stores, restaurants and businesses before or after the festivities. Black Friday weekend sales and Small Business Saturday specials will help shoppers cross off many items on their wish list, with steals and deals at tenant locations throughout the center. Hawaii Kai Towne Center is home to many locally owned businesses, and customers are encouraged to support local and shop small throughout the season.
