Holiday and seasonal celebrations include the Easter Festival, Mele on the Marina, Halloween Spooktacular, Festival of Lights, and Santa’s Arrival & Tree Lighting Ceremony – to name just a few! These exciting, family-friendly Hawaii Kai events attract many guests to our center year after year.
In addition to holiday and seasonal events hosted by the center, we are pleased to serve as a venue for dozens of community groups looking to entertain shoppers at our scenic Marina Docks stage.

Hawaii Kai Towne Center welcomes the Year of the Tiger, with a cultural celebration featuring the award-winning Wah Ngai Lion Dance Association. Community members and visitors are invited to ring in the Lunar New Year at the scenic Marina Docks, as the group dances and presents a martial arts demonstration. Hawaii Kai Towne Center is excited to welcome back the Hawaii Kai Marina Community Association's Festival of Lights Boat Parade this year! Although this year's Festival of Lights Boat Parade will look a little different, we welcome families and the community to join us for this annual event and watch the boats decorated with lights cruise by the Marina Docks at Hawaii Kai Towne Center! Santa Claus is coming to town! Join us on Saturday, November 27th for Santa's long awaited arrival at Hawaii Kai Towne Center! Festivities start at 3:00 PM, with Christmas music, Christmas-themed stilt walkers, Balloon Animals and Santa’s Ornament Workshop hosted by Project Pilina. For the first time ever in Hawai`i, Malama Maunalua will be launching a community initiative to restore Maunalua Bay using local corals! Join us by volunteering at Hana Pūko’a, Working Together for Coral, this Saturday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will have the opportunity to tag, photograph, identity, and fragment corals while also learning more about how scientists identify thermal tolerance to enhance reef resilience for the future as part of the Restore with Resilience initiative.…Find out more »
